Madyis Hub offers an optional Google Business Profile integration that lets a business reply to its Google reviews more easily, with the help of AI. This page explains exactly what Google user data the integration accesses, how it is used, stored and protected, and the control you keep over it. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. Overview

When — and only when — a business owner explicitly connects their Google account, Madyis Hub can read that business's Google reviews and help publish replies to them. Review replies can be drafted by AI for human approval, or, for positive reviews, published automatically according to rules the business configures. The integration is never enabled by default and is never used without the account owner's authorization.

2. The Google API and scope we request

The integration uses the Google Business Profile API. To operate it, we request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage OAuth scope, together with the basic openid, email and profile scopes used to identify the connecting account. You see and approve these scopes on Google's own consent screen before any access is granted.

3. What data we access

The list of Google Business Profile locations you manage (name and identifiers), so you can choose which one to connect.
The reviews left on the connected location — reviewer display name, star rating, review text and timestamps.
The replies to those reviews, which we read to avoid duplicating an existing answer and write when you (or your rules) choose to publish a reply.
Basic profile information of the connecting Google account (email address) to link the connection to your Madyis Hub account.

We request the minimum data needed to provide the feature. We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or any Google data unrelated to managing your Business Profile reviews.

4. How we use the data

To display your Google reviews inside your Madyis Hub dashboard.
To generate a suggested reply using AI, grounded in the review and your settings. Positive reviews can be published automatically; lower-rated reviews are kept as drafts for a human to review, edit and approve.
To publish, on your behalf and under your authorization, the reply you or your rules approve back to your Google Business Profile.

Google user data is used solely to provide and improve this user-facing feature. It is never used for advertising, never sold, and never used to build profiles for purposes unrelated to the feature.

5. Your consent and control

The integration is opt-in: nothing happens until you connect your Google account and pick a location.
You can disconnect at any time from your Madyis Hub settings. Disconnecting revokes our access and stops all future processing.
You can also revoke Madyis Hub's access directly from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/connections.

6. Storage, retention and security

We store only what is necessary to run the feature: a record of each review we have processed and the reply status, plus the OAuth tokens required to keep the connection active. Data is hosted on servers located in the European Union and protected with encryption in transit. When you disconnect a location or delete your account, the associated Google data and tokens are deleted. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.

7. Sharing and sub-processors

We do not sell Google user data and do not share it with third parties except the sub-processors strictly needed to run the feature (for example, our AI provider to generate a suggested reply, and our cloud hosting provider). These sub-processors are listed in our Privacy Policy and are bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.

8. Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy

Madyis Hub's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request the scopes necessary to provide the feature, use the data solely to deliver and improve user-facing functionality, and do not use it for advertising or sell it to third parties.
