The Linear integration lets your agents create a Linear ticket (issue) directly from a conversation, or attach an existing ticket to it, to better track requests that need help from your product or technical team.
How it works
After OAuth authorization of Linear, a panel in the conversation lets you choose a Linear team and create an issue (title, description, priority, assignee, labels) or link an existing issue. The link to the Madyis Hub conversation is added to the ticket to keep the context.
Step by step
- Open "Integrations", then click the "Linear" card.
- Click "Connect" and authorize Madyis Hub from the Linear screen.
- Open a conversation, then use the Linear option in the side panel.
- Choose the team, fill in the ticket (title, description, priorityβ¦) and create it, or link an existing ticket by searching for it.
- The created ticket contains a link to the conversation so you can find the context.
Good to know
- This integration only appears if it's enabled for your account: if the Linear card is missing, it isn't available on your plan.
- Linking an existing ticket avoids duplicates when several customers report the same problem.
- Disconnecting revokes access to your Linear workspace.
