A live-chat campaign shows a proactive message in your website widget, automatically, when a visitor meets your conditions. For example: "Need help choosing?" after 15 seconds on your Pricing page.
Create the campaign
- Go to Campaigns → Live chat → New campaign.
- Title: an internal name (the visitor doesn't see it).
- Message: the text shown to the visitor.
- Inbox: choose the relevant Website inbox (only widget inboxes appear).
- Sent by: a specific agent of that inbox, or the bot.
- URL: the address of the page that triggers the campaign (must start with http/https).
- Time on page: the number of seconds before it shows (10 by default).
- Options: Enabled, and Trigger only during business hours.
- Save.
Good to know
- The campaign re-triggers for every visitor who meets the conditions (an "ongoing" campaign).
- You can edit or delete it at any time.
- Pair it with an AI agent connected to the inbox: the engaged visitor can get an instant answer.
