π Where to find it: Help centers β (your portal) β Articles β select articles β Translate
For a multilingual help center, Madyis Hub can translate several articles at once into another language of your portal, and automatically file them in a target category. This saves you from rewriting each article by hand for every language.
How it works
Once you have added a language to your portal, you select several articles in the list and then run the "Translate" action. You choose the target language and the category in which to store the translated versions. Madyis Hub then creates the translated articles; if a translation already exists, it is flagged as a duplicate so your work is not overwritten.
Step by step
- First add the target language to your portal (the Languages page of the help center).
- Open "Help centers" β your portal β "Articles".
- Check the articles to translate (multiple selection).
- Click the "Translate" action that appears for the selection.
- Choose the target language and the target category, then start the translation.
- Review and adjust the translated versions before publishing them.
Good to know
- The target language must already be enabled on the portal, otherwise it won't appear in the list.
- Already-translated articles are detected as duplicates: check before running it again.
- An automatic translation still needs proofreading: adapt the wording specific to your business.
