πŸ“ Where to find it: Integrations β†’ Shopify

Once your Shopify store is connected, you can add the Madyis Hub chat bubble to your storefront without copying a single line of code: you simply enable a block in your store's theme.

How it works

Madyis Hub provides a theme block ("Madyis Hub Chat") for Shopify. When a visitor arrives on your store, this block automatically asks Madyis Hub for the right widget attached to your store: the server finds the "Website" inbox linked to the connected store all by itself. So you have no token or code to copy. If you have several "Website" inboxes, you can choose which one is displayed from the integration page.

Step by step

  1. First make sure your store is connected (see "Connecting your Shopify store").
  2. In the Shopify theme editor, enable the "Madyis Hub Chat" block/embed.
  3. Save and publish your theme: the chat bubble appears on the storefront.
  4. If you have several "Website" inboxes, go back to Madyis Hub under "Integrations β†’ Shopify" and choose the one to use in "Inbox shown on the store".
  5. To customize color, position and welcome message, open the "Widget builder" of your Website channel.

Good to know

  • No code to paste: this is the main advantage over manually installing the widget.
  • If you have only one "Website" inbox, it is used automatically and no setting is needed.
  • A change that "doesn't show" on the store almost always comes from Shopify's cache (refresh or clear the theme cache), not from a bug.
  • You can also connect an AI agent to this inbox to reply automatically, drawing on the customer's Shopify orders.
