Set up your account and profile: identity, security, notifications and access.
Account settings: name, language and logo
Account settings define the identity of your Madyis Hub workspace. Access them via Settings β Account Settings (admins). What you can set - Account name: your workspace name (required). - Site language: the default interface language for the account. - Account logo: your logo, shown at the top-left of the dashboard. Good to know - At the bottom of the page you'll find your account ID and the installation version β useful if you contact support. - Some options (custom reply domain, audio transcriptionβ¦) only appear if they're enabled on your plan. Your browser may cache the logo: if you don't see the new one right away, do a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5).
Your profile: avatar, signature, language and shortcuts
Your profile settings are personal (they only affect you, not your teammates). Go to Settings β Profile. What you can customize - Avatar, name and display name: your photo and how your name appears. - Email address: editable (changing your email logs you out, you'll need to sign back in). - Signature: text added automatically at the end of your replies. - Interface language and font size: your display preference, independent of the account language. - Send shortcut: send a message with Enter, or with Cmd/Ctrl + Enter. - Audio notifications: alert sounds. For password and two-factor authentication, see the article "Secure your account".
Secure your account: password and two-factor authentication (2FA)
Protect your access with a strong password and two-factor authentication. Everything is in Settings β Profile. Change your password In the Password section, enter the old one then the new one. Your password must contain: - at least one uppercase, one lowercase, one digit and one special character, - between 6 and 128 characters. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) If available on your installation, the Security section lets you set up app-based 2FA (TOTP, like Google Authenticator): scan the QR code with your app, then enter the code to confirm. At each sign-in, you'll be asked for this code in addition to your password. Good to know: 2FA is the best protection against password theft. Enable it especially for administrator accounts.
Choose your notifications
Choose when Madyis Hub notifies you. Go to Settings β Profile β Notifications. The events you can follow For each event, turn email and/or push notifications on or off: - a new conversation comes in, - a conversation is assigned to you, - a new message on a conversation assigned to you, - a conversation you're watching is updated (participant). Good to know - Push notifications show in the browser and the mobile app. - If you're flooded with emails, turn off "new conversation" and keep only "assigned" and "new message". - Alert sounds are set in Profile β Audio.
Generate an API token
The API token lets you connect Madyis Hub to your own tools or scripts via the REST API. Go to Settings β Profile β Access Token. Get or reset your token - Copy: copy the token to use it in your API requests (authentication header). - Reset: generates a new token. β οΈ The old one becomes invalid immediately β update it everywhere you used it. Good to know: this token acts on your behalf. Never share it publicly (not in public code, a screenshot, etc.).
Manage multiple workspaces
Madyis Hub lets you manage several workspaces (accounts) from a single login β for example one per brand or per client. Create a workspace Use the account switcher (top of the sidebar) β New account. How many workspaces per plan | Plan | Workspaces | |---|---| | Free | 1 | | Starter | 1 | | Pro | 2 | | Business | 4 | If you reach the limit, a message invites you to upgrade. Good to know: each workspace has its own inboxes, agents, contacts and billing. Switch between them via the account switcher.
